Serial Command Control
Serial iBootBar provides both RS-232 serial command control and contact closure GIPO control in a single unit. Use either serial control, contact control or both to achieve maximum remote control of your A/C power switching applications.
Serial control uses a simple command line interface (CLI) to operate the outlets and set all user programmable features.
Login to the CLI is password protected, with multiple users, each with independently controllable rights to administrative functions and individual outlets. Users only see and can control the outlets that you authorize.
Each outlet can be controlled ON, OFF, or Cycled for a programmable time. Cycle can be either power down for Reboot, or power up.
Outlets can be grouped together for simultaneous function, with programmable delay set to avoid excessive inrush on startup. Each outlet can also be programmed with a unique name, startup condition, and contact closure operation parameters. |

Contact Closure Control
If you already have a remote control, SCADA, RDU or GPIO system, you can add A/C power switching with these rack mounted power strips.
Link Serial iBootBars to your own command and control system for your custom power control requirements. Setup allows contact open or closed to be defined as Power On or Off, and initial startup condition of the outlets.
Spring loaded connectors make it easy to tie the Serial iBootBar to your digital input controls.

Operation |
8 Independently Controllable Outlets |
The Serial iBootBar (sBB) series is designed to provide power distribution and remote power control. Each sBB allows eight outlets to be independently switched on and off for reboot, energy management and security. The sBB has many features to make the management of power distribution simple and cost effective |
Serial RS-232 Control |
RS-232 serial control allows for direct control of the sBB outlets, and complete setup of all parameters. Simple Command Line Interface uses clear language commands for all setup and control functions. View Command List |
Contact Closure Control |
Each outlet is associated with a discrete input that can be connected to a physical switch or relay. Changing the state of the input will operate the outlet. Outlets are individually configurable for On and Off state relative to contact closed or open. |
Multi-User |
Assign permissions to each user for outlets and configuration. Users see only outlets assigned |
Current Sensing and Alarms |
Know when critical power conditions occur and take immediate action. |
North American and
International Versions |
115 VAC with N. American cords and plugs.
100-240VAC with IEC connections |
Multiple users with assigned rights and simultaneous control |
Up to 16 users can be assigned administrator or user only rights, plus access to specific outlets and groups. Users only see the outlets and groups they are assigned to. |
Group and Stagger |
Combine any outlets into logical groups and managed together. Power up Delay Timer prevents units from powering up simultaneously and overwhelming the current capacity. |
